Tom and I just wanted to email and say a massive thank you to the band. We had a fabulous wedding and you finished it off with a bang; it was great to see so many people of all ages on the dance floor! A highlight was definitely Oops Upside Your Head and seeing all our guests getting on the floor (me included!). All of our guests commented on how great you were. Now I just need another excuse for a party so I can book you again!
My Company used Alvin to entertain us at our corporate Christmas function in December 2014, they were so good I did not hesitate but to book them again for December 2015! We have a wide age group among our staff but the music entertained everyone. The biggest complaint was how sore everyones feet were from dancing non stop!!! If you want a function where the band quietly sets up and makes the do go very successfully then Alvin are the answer!
We hired Alvin for our wedding and they were amazing! They topped off a great day with an evening to match, worth every penny and more. Everyone was talking about how amazing the band were. We loved them that much that we had to get them back to play at a Christmas party we threw.
We booked Alvin for our wedding after spending several months researching bands from all over the country and I have to say that Alvin are the best Live Band I have ever seen! They were amazing and blew the whole wedding party away with their enthusiasm and pure talent. The communication from start to finish was fantastic, whether it be obtaining copies of their public liability certificates or just simply discussing our music preferences. The band arrived and departed at the time agreed and were all very professional and extremely polite. They didn't even take up the offer of free beer as they said it would affect their playing ability. If you like these guys on the video, then you will LOVE them when they play live at your event! Do not hesitate on booking them!
Completely self contained, Alvin & the Hip Monks offer a 2k PA rig + stage and dance floor lighting, suitable for an average 250 capacity function room and fill in music for between the live sets. This is an extremely talented and versatile rock & pop covers band offering a 'sock it to me' repertoire that includes all your favourite party hits from the last 6 decades. The band genuinely appeals to all ages and would be just as much at home at a top class corporate shin dig as they would be at a small private birthday bash or wedding reception.
