Well what can we say other than a huge THANK YOU to The Swinging Waiters for reeling in our wedding guests hook, line and sinker at our wedding last Friday in Inglewood Manor. You had the guests fooled from the word go, as soon as they came out of our ceremony and were enjoying drinks on the terrace, where you started an argument by ticking off the trainee. By the time the wedding breakfast was served, I think there were at least 1-2 people on each table fuming and all the time myself and Ste sat back and observed with a cheeky smile on our faces. In fact, some of our guests even did a collection for the trainee as they felt that sorry for him. The non vegetarians, Facebook addicts, you got to them all! Couldn’t have asked for a better act to bring to our wedding breakfast. All of our guests were amazed when they realised they had all been duped, and you have been the talking point of our whole wedding. Never ever have I saw a wedding breakfast as lively as ours. Thank you so much again Jemma and Steven Tym xx
I just want to say a big thank you to you and all the staff that helped with my wedding everything was amazing and all your staff are lovely. I would like to say a massive thank you to The Swinging Waiters, they are amazing! I had complaints all night regarding the way the head waiter was speaking to the trainee. The guests were all fooled and loved them! I will definitely be recommending them in future.
A big thanks to The Swinging Waiters for travelling to Mallorca for my wedding….we had everyone fooled & we haven’t stopped talking about it since. It was the icing on the cake.
Well what I can I possibly say other than WOW! The Swinging Waiters performed at our wedding on Saturday and what an incredible job they did!!! They had all of our guests completely fooled and the reaction was amazing when guests realised it had all been an act! They really made our day something to remember – guests were talking about it for the rest of the day and its been great hearing all the different stories from them! The guys stayed with us for the day and sang/DJ’d in the evening – everyone was saying how fantastic they were! Both of them are so nice too, put you completely at ease and ensure that the whole thing goes well!!! I would highly recommend The Swinging Waiters to anyone! I now think I need a 30th Birthday Party just so I can hire them all over again!!!! I can’t sing (No pun intended) their praises enough and thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping to create such fantastic memories that I will treasure XXX
The Swinging Waiters routine will typically involve the duo taking on the persona of venue staff. In fact, the duo are expert at hiding in plain sight, joining in with the rest of the catering staff or as waiters, serving food and drinks. As the evening goes on, guests might notice that a couple of the staff start to reveal a little more personality than the others by cracking a few jokes and generally having that bit of fun with the guests.
The real routine begins shortly after the last course has been served and typically begins with some sort of staged disagreement between the two staff members or some other kind of disturbance, at which point and to everyone’s surprise, one of the waiters suddenly breaks into song and then, a moment later, the other waiter joins in with his harmonies. At this point, having won everyone’s attention, and duo will begin to walk around the room, engaging with audience members, getting people up out of their chairs to sing and dance along with them.
