I honestly can’t thanks Laney enough, he was a perfect wedding DJ for us! Myself and my husband are perfectionists and we honestly can’t fault him! He played songs to suit everybody and was more than happy to take requests. Everybody commented on how lovely and professional he was and of course on the brilliant tunes he was playing all night – there was always loads of us on the dance floor! He was also so helpful with everything prior to the day too, we owe him a massive thank you as well
We gave Laney a small list of requests and some general info about what sort of atmosphere we wanted and he was fantastic! He played all the songs we asked for, old and new, and kept a great party atmosphere going till the very end. All of our guests commented on how great the DJ and the music selection was. Laney kept in contact with us for the two days leading up to the wedding to keep up to date with timings and what was going on so we both felt very confident about the day. He was extremely friendly and professional! Brilliant value for money too! Tell Laney to charge more! He's brilliant!
Lovely guy, really professional and looked great fitted in well with our day! Everyone loved him played all the music we wanted and peoples requested but only played them within our requested genres! Worth every penny!!
We were looking for a wedding DJ that would play modern dance music and current chart hits and we are so pleased that we found DJ Laney - he was amazing and created a fantastic, fun atmosphere at our wedding. We gave him a list of songs we like and he created a playlist around those songs. DJ Laney also took requests from our guests and managed to slot in even the most random requests without losing the overall mood we were looking for. Our dance floor was full all night and we had lots of comments from our guests saying how fantastic he was. Laney was professional and so easy to deal with.

I was nervous about booking a DJ as it could go horribly wrong. I didn't want to end up with some cheesy old dude playing naff music and talking over the music. DJ Laney seemed like he would be on the same wavelength as a club DJ too. I was still a bit worried about it but after talking to him on the phone I felt reassured and decided to go with my gut instinct over some others DJ's recommended to me. I'm so glad I did because he was fantastic. I had loads of comments from people saying that the DJ was great and the dance floor was full all night. He played most of the things I requested, even some of the more random requests. He took a few requests from other people, but I think he clearly got our musical tastes and worked with that. He was a really nice friendly guy, but he just got on with playing the music and keeping everyone dancing without the need to comment. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone else who had an event coming up.
We wanted to send you a quick note to say a HUGE thanks for delivering the residents of Sonning On Thames the most awesome party, it will go down in the history books as one of the best the village has EVER seen! You pitched the whole night beautifully, it was such a relief to have a true pro with us who knows just how to reach such a diverse crowd, the dance floor was packed all night long and of course nobody wanted it all to come to an end! Music is always such a crucial part of any party and we haven’t always been as delighted in the past….so consider yourself well and truly booked for our next event, and the next, and the next! We cannot recommend DJ Laney enough, he was fantastic and created a brilliant atmosphere for our wedding with the lighting and music choices. It really put our minds at rest that we could email across our music tastes, and his set up was quick and easy... DJ Laney was recommended as being a great wedding DJ, but not a typical wedding DJ - this was key for me as the likes of Come on Eileen were not top of my list. I didn’t provide him with an extensive list of songs, but I gave him a few that I liked and gave a hint to the type of mood I wanted created. He captured that mood brilliantly. The dance floor was full ALL night long, creating some great pics and brilliant memories. Laney was professional, well presented and was a key part of making my wedding as fantastic as I’d dreamed.
Laney is a very polite and friendly young man who just happens to be incredibly good at what he does best. People frequently note his ability to read a crowd and cater to a varied audiences. Laney has developed an impressive list of past clients since he began in the late 90’s – this includes the Ministry of Sound, Residencies at Martini bar and Club Iguana in Miami, an audience of 10,000 at Miami Winter Music Conference, Jamie Cullum, Philip Schofield and several intimate celebrity performances for Premiership footballers and Royalty as well as performing at Wimbledon. Alongside this, Laney has played at hundreds of private events, residencies and weddings throughout the UK.
DJ Laney is driven by a deep passion for music and this is reflected in his high energy, floor-filling style. Although his real passion lies in dance music, his love for good music has resulted in an impressively eclectic music collection spanning the timeline of great music – from 1950’s Rock n Roll and 1960’s classics, through to modern R&B and Pop. Of course, no DJ would be complete without a generous helping of Motown, Disco and dance classics.
