"Cloud 9" comprises of a superb 4 piece vocal team. Michael, Dave, Otis and Trevor are simply awe inspiring! Their smooth & silky vocal harmonies offer the perfect tribute to the Motown greats, such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, The O'Jays, The Drifters, Marvin gaye & little Stevie Wonder. If that wasnt all, their perfectly choreographed shows are truly something to see. More than nostalgic, you could almost believe you had slipped back in time! Their honed vocals and utter showmanship ensures that they stand out from the rest so its not surprising that they've won many talents shows over the years or that they've recently collecting an Award for 'Outstanding Performances' from the Worcester District Council Entertainment Board. The Cloud 9 repertoire includes a series of hits in both ballad and dance styles and their show includes carefully arranged complex vocal harmonies that highlight the group's 'doo-wop' heritage. They also deliver simple rhythm numbers & graceful ballads like 'My Girl' with such vocal accuracy and style that they are able to recreate that Nostalgic Motown Era all over again. Cloud 9 have a very great respect and admiration for the Motown Movement, the driving force behind their success. The group have performed at numerous venues all over the country, including clubs, hotels and cabaret venues. They have also performed at a wide range of private functions including weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. Cloud 9 also offer a 2 to 7 part live backing group, ranging from Keys & drums to a four peice (keys, drums, guitar 7 Bass) and up to a 7 piece (by adding brass)
SET LENGTHS
Cloud 9 perform 2x60min sets as standard but for an additional fee, they will play for longer if required.
EARLY START / LATE FINISH
The Cloud 9 standard fee assumes that they will arrive at 4pm to set up & sound check and that they will finish performing by 12am. For an additional fee, they can set up earlier and play after 12am.
